A short film on the life of Christopher Potvin, a star athlete from Montville, CT, who was tragically lost at the age of only 15 years old from injuries suffered in a multi-car accident in January 1987. Since then, a scholarship fund in his memory was created to reward student-athletes as the enter college. Features interviews with his parents Wayne & Christine, his sister Tiesha and his best friend Bill, who are all involved in the scholarship fund.

Originally produced by Vault Productions in 2020, it was remastered in 2022 with an additional tribute to Chris’ father Wayne, who passed away in September 2021.

    Wow! This video is fantastic. I didn’t know Chris, but I can now see why his parents were SO proud of him, and why they continue to keep this great scholarship in Chris’ name going. The scholar-athletes that the family continue to help each year with scholarships are so fortunate.

    Wow, really well done! Takes me back to early to mid 80’s battling against Chris in middle school basketball. Great video about a great person!
